Aligned to our Vision to become Africa's leading and most respected provider of business risk management training, we have developed the RiskFox™ range of training courses in Enterprise Risk Management to equip directors, executives, senior managers, risk managers, and risk practitioners to develop competence and confidence in the governance and management of risk.
All our courses are designed and presented by experts in their field and are regularly updated to ensure they remain relevant and contemporary. Training courses are usually held at our boutique training facility in the rural country setting of Kyalami but can also be held at a client arranged venue.
We have applied for SETA accreditation through FASSET and are currently undergoing a rigorous assessment process to ensure that our clients receive the quality training we promise.

RiskFox™ - Everyday Business Risk Management
For business executives, senior managers, and line managers who need to manage risk
This two-day experiential learning workshop is designed to equip delegates who are not risk managers with the know-how to competently and confidently take responsibility for the risks in the area of the business entrusted to them, and to take up their responsibility in the company's risk management process. The workshop is intended to ensure delegates leave knowing what their responsibilities are, and the next steps they need to take, to ensure risk management is being practiced in order to improve the quality of decision-making, reduce uncertainty, and improve strategic and operational performance.
RiskFox™ - Raising the Bar of Business Risk Management
For CRO’s, risk managers, and risk practitioners
This two-day interactive workshop is designed to build the capacity and confidence of new risk managers or enhance the value of existing risk managers. The course is designed to equip delegates with more advanced risk management know-how to carry out the risk management responsibilities entrusted to them and to take a leading role in growing the risk management function into a mature and value-adding unit.
RiskFox™ - The Governance of Risk
For boards, directors, and senior executives
This one-day seminar is designed to equip boards, individual directors, and senior company executives to approach their responsibility for the governance of risk with increased confidence, and to effectively delegate the responsibility for designing, implementing, and monitoring the risk management plan to management. The seminar is intended to ensure delegates understand their responsibilities, and what actions they need to direct, to ensure a compliant risk management process is established to enhance the quality of decision-making, reduce uncertainty, and contribute to the creation of sustainable shareholder value.
Strategy Training
Retlaw Fox has developed the StrategyFox™ course to cater for the requirements of executives, senior managers, strategy managers, and strategy practitioners. The course contents are regularly updated to ensure they remain relevant and contemporary.
Change Training
We are currently not offering any specific Change Management training. Our course 'Developing and Implementing Strategy' covers the 10 essential steps needed to successfully manage change (implement strategy) in an organisation.
Business Skills Training
We will be launching a series of short-courses later this year (2013) or early 2014. Each course will be developed and presented by an experienced subject matter expert. These courses are designed to complement our risk management courses and cover topics that are often major sources of risk in an organisation. Topics will include:
- Fraud risk management
- Credit risk management (non-banking sector)
- Business continuity management
- Labour relations management
- Finance for non-financial managers
- Commercial law for non-lawyers
